This is an excellent graduate opportunity to join an experienced IT team who enjoy a large variety of work. This role will be reporting to the Senior Systems Applications Analyst. Your development program will see you become a Junior Systems Analyst. Your role

NoiseNet: NSW and QLD

NoiseNet analyses the noise impact on residential properties. We pull data (including air, road and rail traffic information; data on busy public venues or facilities; and industrial zoning, for example) to give homebuyers or renters a noise assessment.

Role on offer: Tech Startup Strategist

NoiseNet is about helping people avoid and manage intrusive noise. We have a range of services and have plans to go global. One of our key sectors is homebuyers – wanting to find out if a property has noise problems. By January we plan to have our service listed on all the major data search providers, so ordering our product is a single click for customers. BUT we need to get awareness of our product out there, and in particular to advise our sales partners about what the product is, how it works, why it is good for their customers.

The project will centre on designing one or more campaigns to be delivered along with our current marketing department – but for much of it, you will be taking the lead. The campaign will include targeted advertising, some social media, building a lead list and contacting them by email and phone and potentially setting up promotional events.

We’re a new startup building a platform for creating and exploring strategy in real-time using AI (including ML, cognitive computing, and related services). We’re a new startup building a platform for creating and exploring strategy in real-time using AI (including ML, cognitive computing, and related services). We are now confident that our architecture should work and need help to complete our MVP so we can focus on customers and capital raising. We are looking for a keen front end / full stack developer to work closely with us to complete the MVP using a next generation web stack initially on a part-me basis. You will be completing the initial Angular 2+ front end MVP from a partially built repo:

  • Development of validators for user input
  • Translating UI designs from marvel into HTML/PUG, CSS
  • Developing key functions and libraries to connect to supporting third party services
  • Able to work at least 2 days per week during the semester, and full-time during the holidays
  • Third year or above undergraduate student enrolled in Computer Science/Software Engineering/etc.
  • Implementation of Angular 2+ components for various data objects that need to be displayed and edited
  • Maintenance, Improvements, and new development of API’s to support Angular operations for various data objects that need to be displayed and edited

Must have

  • Extensive Javascript development skills
