This week we tried something a little different – an event focused on the types of careers which can be found from paddock to plate. So we packed up our chocolate frogs, brass bell and event kit and headed over to the geographical heart of Sydney to run the ‘Food, Agribusiness and Logistics’ event in partnership with Regional Development Australia, Food Innovation Australia Ltd and Deloitte.
We think we did pretty well, but see for yourself! It was a ‘hungry’ (sorry) crowd involving 63 students, 17 innovative food and agtech companies and four wise mentors.
Quite the recipe for success 😉
Nearly all of the businesses who attended, including Inghams Poultry and Monster Health Food have already hired or intend to hire/interview some of our student speed daters!
